2013 Golden Globes Best Dressed

Lucy Liu Golden Globes 2013

Picking out my favorite dress at an award ceremony is always my favorite part. For the 2013 Golden Globes Awards, the Best Dressed title goes to the lovely and talented, Lucy Liu. Wearing Carolina Herrera, Lucy wore a long strapless gown with a floral print. I have to admit, the dress didn’t agree with me at first, but it gradually started to grow on me. The pale blue complimented her skin tone beautifully, and the floral print reminded me of Severin Roesen’s oil painting entitled, “Still Life: Flowers and Fruit.” Lastly, the volume of the dress in combination with the theme made the actress blossom on the red carpet. She was a magnificent sight to behold in a sea of mermaid and solid colored dresses.

You can analyze the detail of her dress with the zoom-in feature provided over at US Weekly Magazine.

His most notable features include the large mustache that curls out on each end and an outlandish hat that is already being produced for future purchase. Continue reading
